Bloodborne Soundtrack: New Vinyl Releases Celebrate 10th Anniversary
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the celebrated game Bloodborne is receiving exciting new vinyl soundtrack releases, bringing its haunting and atmospheric music to fans in a tangible format. While news of a new game or a remastered edition remains elusive, these deluxe editions offer a compelling reason for enthusiasts to commemorate the game's milestone. Laced Records, in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment, is launching several collections, most notably a comprehensive three-LP box set, which includes a unique Bloodborne-themed slipmat.
Among the new offerings is Bloodborne Vol. 2, specifically featuring nine tracks from The Old Hunters DLC. This single red, white, and black marble disc is presented in a lavish gatefold sleeve adorned with gold foiling. This volume notably includes four previously unreleased tracks from the original vinyl and five boss themes from the DLC, such as "Ludwig, The Holy Blade" and "Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower." Additionally, the original Bloodborne soundtrack, first issued in 2019, will see a Laced-exclusive release. This double LP set comes with turquoise, white, and black marble discs, similarly housed in a deluxe gold-foiled gatefold sleeve, encompassing 21 songs from the main game.
For the ultimate fan, a Laced-exclusive three-LP collector’s box set combines both Bloodborne Vol. 1 and 2, complete with the Caryll Rune-adorned slipmat. These special editions will be available for pre-order, with prices set at $32 for Vol. 2, $42 for the re-released Vol. 1, and $98 for the complete 10th Anniversary Vol. 1 and 2 package. These releases provide fans with a high-quality, immersive way to revisit the game’s iconic musical landscape, allowing them to relive the thrilling and challenging experience through its unforgettable scores.
